Women's basketball: Sooners eke out win in final regular season game

The OU women's basketball team closed out the regular season Monday, winning a 77-73 nail-biter against Texas Tech in Lubbock.
Key Stat: Eight blocks. The Sooners recorded eight blocks in the win against Texas Tech.
Key Player: Junior center Nicole Griffin played an excellent game, recording 10 points, 10 rebounds, six blocks, four assists and one steal to help lead the Sooners to victory.
What it means: With this win against Texas Tech, the Sooners finish the regular season with a record of 21-9 (11-7 Big 12)
What’s next for the Sooners: The Sooners earned a first-round bye for the Big 12 Tournament and will begin play in the quarterfinals Saturday.
