Men's gymnastics: Former Sooners' star wins American Cup
Former OU gymnast Jake Dalton won the 2013 AT&T American Cup on Saturday in Worcester, Mass., with a score of 89.398.
Dalton, who made the 2012 Olympic team, won four of the six individual events on his way to claiming the all-around title.
"It feels great to win the AT&T American Cup," Dalton said in a press release. "It's good to get back into routine mode and hit all my routines. Start value and consistency are my focus. I want to be the one to count on when I go out there and compete."
Dalton, who was a member of the OU men's gymnastics team from 2010-2012, finished third in the competition last year, posting a score of 88.497.
