Men's basketball: Sooners avenge blowout loss to Iowa State

The OU men’s basketball team avenged its big loss against Iowa State earlier in the year by beating them, 86-69.

Key stat: 100. The Sooners' percentage from the free throw line. They shot 34-of-34 against the Cyclones.

Key performer: Senior forward Romero Osby had yet another great game, scoring 22 points and grabbing nine rebounds.

Key opponent: Senior guard Tyrus McGee put up a team-high 22 points, including six 3-pointers.

What it means: OU gets to double digits in the Big 12 win column with a 10-6 record.

Next up for the Sooners: Oklahoma continues its homestand against West Virginia at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lloyd Noble Center
