Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert to release more tickets for purchase
After quickly selling out shortly after their release, tickets for the Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert will go on sale again noon Friday.
This second round of tickets may be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, via phone at 800-745-3000 or at a Homeland store location. All seats are $25 with an eight-ticket purchase limit, according to a press release dated June 27.
An event organizer with Shock Ink confirmed production details for the concert have been finalized, allowing organizers to release more tickets for purchase.
The number of tickets to be released has not been revealed, according to the event organizer.
Performers will include Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Willie Nelson, Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Dunn, Mel Tillis and John Anderson, according to the press release. Carrie Underwood also will be performing via satellite from Nashville, according to the event organizer.
The show will occur at 3 p.m. July 6 at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the show will benefit tornado victims through The United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.
