Reports link Golloway to Auburn job
According to reports, Oklahoma baseball coach Sunny Golloway has visited and been in talks with Auburn for the open baseball coach position.
Auburn fired its head coach on May 27, and Golloway seems to be a candidate for the opening.
Since taking over the program in 2005, Golloway has won 346 games, including five straight seasons with at least 40 victories and one year with 50 wins. OU has been to the College World Series once during that time, going 1-2 in Omaha in 2010.
This past season, the Sooners finished with a 43-21 record while taking home the Big 12 Tournament title, the program's first since 1997. OU's season ended for the second straight season in the super regional round, this time against the LSU Tigers at the Baton Rouge Super Regional.
Although no reports have come out stating Golloway has accepted the job, it is unknown when he may make a decision about the Auburn position.
