Men's basketball: Kansas State ends OU's five-game winning streak
The Oklahoma men’s basketball team had a comeback fall short, as they lost, 69-60, to Kansas State in Manhattan.
Key stat: 41.7. The Sooners' free throw percentage. OU went 5-for-12 from the line, including senior forward Romero Osby going 2-6, despite shooting 84 percent during the season.
Key performer: Osby had yet another game where he was invisible in the first half, but came on strong after halftime, finishing with 12 points and six rebounds.
Key opponent: Senior guard Rodney McGruder hurt the Sooners from all over the floor, but particularly from behind the three-point line, shooting 4-for-9 from three and finishing with 18 points.
What it means: OU missed a big opportunity to get a quality road win, but are still on a good course, with a 3-1 record in conference play.
