Women's basketball: Cyclones dominate Sooners, 82-61, snapping six-game winning streak

The OU women’s basketball team struggled offensively, losing to Iowa State, 82-61, for its first conference loss as well as ending its six-game winning streak.

Key stat: 31.7 percent. The Sooners struggled offensively, shooting just 31.7 percent from the field.

Key player: Iowa State junior forward Hallie Christofferson played an outstanding game — recording 24 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block — as she led the Cyclones to a runaway victory.

What it means: The Sooners are now 4-1 in the Big 12 after one of their worst nights this season offensively.

Next up for the Sooners: OU plays Texas at 2 p.m. on Jan. 19 at Lloyd Noble Center.
