Where: TBA
Players to watch: Senior thrower Tia Brooks and senior miler Patrick Casey, both of whom set records at the Big 12 Indoor Championships last week. Brooks set a Big 12 and indoor program record for shot put, and Casey set an indoor program record in the mile. Both hope to continue on to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. next weekend.
Key stat: The men’s track and field team is ranked No. 21, and the women’s track and field team is ranked No. 23.
What’s at stake: Oklahoma track and field athletes who have yet to qualify for the NCAA Championships on March 8 and 9 hope to qualify this weekend for their events.
