Julia Nelson, The Oklahoma Daily 9:00 p.m. February 23, 2013

Fresh off a confidence-boosting win against Kansas State, the Sooners traveled to Stillwater for a Bedlam matchup. After falling to a 19 point deficit in the first half, the Sooners battled back, but the damage had been done. Oklahoma State defeated the Sooners 83-62.

Key Stat: 7.7. For the first 10 minutes of the game, the Sooners shot 7.7 percent from the field. They battled back to a one-point deficit at halftime, but the slow start proved too much for Oklahoma to overcome.

Key Player: Junior guard Aaryn Ellenberg. Further proving she has come out of her shooting slump, Ellenberg finished with 22 points, 5 rebounds and an assist.

What it means: Oklahoma State evens up the Bedlam Series for the season at 1-1. The Sooners fall to an overall record of 19-8 and 9-5 in conference.

What’s next: Oklahoma takes on No. 1 Baylor at 7 p.m Monday at Lloyd Noble Center.
