Women's basketball: Second-half spark leads to Bedlam blowout

The Sooners overcame a slow first half to beat Oklahoma State Sunday at Lloyd Noble Center. Sohpomore guard Sharane Campbell and senior forward Joanna McFarland each finished with a double-double in the victory.
Key Stat: 47.6. The Sooners made 47.6 percent of their field goals tonight. Oklahoma normally heavily relies on 3-point shooting to win the game, but they showed versatility and pushed into the paint to win.
Key Player: Junior center Nicole Griffin. Griffin ended with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and an assist in her team-leading effort.
What it means: The Sooners advance to 18-5 overall and 8-3 in conference with the win against Oklahoma State, beating the No. 22-ranked team.
What’s next: Oklahoma takes on Iowa State on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Lloyd Noble Center.
