Students can now use smart devices to complete online course evaluations
To increase the number of students completing their course evaluations, students now have the opportunity to access evaluations via their mobile devices.
This mobile access is available through OU’s eValuate system, an online model that was developed in spring 2010 to replace paper and pencil evaluations. This system allows students to complete and submit their course evaluations online.
With the integration of mobile access, students now will be able to use their smart phones, tablets or laptop computers.
Faculty will remind students to bring their mobile devices prior to scheduled evaluation days for their class session and will inform their students when the course evaluations are open, according to a news release. Once available, students will access the evaluation website.
By completing their course evaluations, students take an active role in increasing teaching strength and course instruction at OU, according to the release. All responses are evaluated and taken into consideration in an effort to continue improving the classroom experience.
