Astrud Reed, The Oklahoma Daily
Sophomore guard Cameron Clark pulls up for the short range jumper against Central Oklahoma on Wednesday night at the Fieldhouse.
OU won its second and final exhibition game this season, 94-66, against Central Oklahoma at McCasland Field House as part of the Field House Series.
How the Sooners won: Behind its trio of fantastic freshmen guards Buddy Hield, Isaiah Cousins and Je’lon Hornbeak — who combined to score 40 of the Sooners’ 94 points — OU simply outplayed UCO in nearly every facet of the game.
Key stat: OU outscored the Bronchos off turnovers, 25-5.
Key performer: Freshman guard Buddy Hield came off the bench to lead the Sooners in scoring for the second game in a row, going 7-for-13 from the field, 3-for-4 from three and pulling down three rebounds.
Key opponent: Junior guard Christian Huffman led the Bronchos 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting.
What it means: OU dominated a game it was supposed to dominate, and now the Sooners move on to their regular season opener against Louisiana-Monroe on Sunday.
