The OU soccer team lost in its first game under new coach Matt Potter, falling 2-0 in an exhibition against Tulsa on Saturday night in Norman.

How the Sooners lost: Tulsa kept possession of the ball on OU’s side of the pitch for much of the game and had five more shots on goal than the Sooners.

Key stat: Tulsa had 15 shots on goal.

Key performer: Although the Sooners didn’t score, senior forward Annalisa Hall had four shots on goal.

Key opponent: Junior forward Claire Nicholson gave the Golden Hurricanes a 1-0 lead after scoring on a free kick in the 25th minute.

What it means: Tulsa beat the Sooners soundly, but it was just an exhibition game. So no harm, no foul.
