Men's Basketball
Weather conditions prevented the OU men's basketball team from departing for Lincoln, Neb., on schedule yesterday, OU Athletics spokesman Mike Houck stated in a press release.
Houck said officials from both schools decided to move today's game at the Bob Devaney Sports Center from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. CT.
The game was originally scheduled to be televised by the Big 12 Network and ESPN Full Court, but due to the time change, the Big 12 Network is unable to televise the matchup. SoonerSports.com will stream a live webcast of the game. For more information visit SoonerSports.com.
Women's Basketball
Also due to inclement weather, the start time of the women's basketball game today against Texas Tech in Lubbock has been re-scheduled to 7 p.m. from its original 2 p.m. tip-off time. The game can be seen on COX Channel 7 in the Oklahoma City area.
Men's Gymnastics
The men's gymnastics meet today between No. 4 OU and the Texas club team has been cancelled due to the weather.
The Sooners and Longhorns were scheduled to compete at 7 p.m. in the Howard McCasland Field House.
OU will return to action next week when some of the Sooners squad will make the trip to Las Vegas Feb. 4 to compete in the Winter Cup on.
Track & Field
Also due to inclement weather, today's J.D. Martin Invitational has been cancelled. The tournament was to be the OU Track & Field program's first meet of the 2010 season. The No. 9 Oklahoma men and No. 15 Oklahoma women were scheduled to hose 11 schools, including in-state rivals Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts and Tulsa.
