Norman police are searching for a 9-year-old girl reported missing since 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Norman police spokeswoman Jennifer Newell stated in a press release the girl was last seen in her apartment at 1616 Alameda St.
Newell stated the girl's mother woke from a nap around 1 p.m to find the girl missing. The mother contacted police at 1:48 p.m.
Krista Leann Holland, the missing girl, was described to police as 4 feet and 7 inches tall, and approximately 65 to 70 lbs with sandy blond shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt and blue or gray jeans with flowers on the upper thigh. Newell stated the girl may also be wearing a brown nylon jacket with fur on the collar.
Newell stated if anyone has seen Holland or has information regarding this case, call the Norman Police Department at 321-1444.
